It's back-to-school time, and it has me reflecting on my first year as an educator. Specifically, on what I wore my first day of teaching.

The Met Gala happened this week and I am now a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing, and that is the inspiration for this blog post.

Since I'm graduating, this is a good time to revisit the teaching philosophy I wrote a year ago to see how it has changed and to reflect.

For today's blog post, I am sharing my thoughts on reading the book-turned Oscar nominated movie Killers of the Flower Moon by David Grann.
